Cooking Up Lithium
This photograph of space was taken using a large telescope in Chile. The brightest star at the centre of this picture is a nova: an exploding star that suddenly and violently exploded! When it exploded, it threw gases from inside it, out into space. The gases included a chemical called Lithium.
