ALMA Peers Through the Fog Surrounding Early Galaxies
The blue-green fuzzy blobs in the picture above show some of the very first galaxies in the Universe! And The orange blob in the middle is a cloud of cold cosmic gas that is in the process of becoming a galaxy.
