Ringside Seats To A Planetary Bake Off
This picture was created to show two rings of cosmic dust that has just been found in a binary star system. The most exciting ring can be seen circling a star at the centre of the image. This cloud includes the ingredients for a new planet! Normally the stars in this twin-star system would gobble up this sort of cloud in no time. But this one has found a way to survive, improving its chances of one day becoming a planet!
