The Noodle Effect
This picture shows a cloud (in red) being sucked in by the strong gravitational field of the supermassive black hole at the centre of our Galaxy! You can see it has been stretched so much that it resembles spaghetti! The funky blue lines or an artist's representation of the orbit the stars in this picture follow.
