Galactic Duo Enjoy their Moment in the Spotlight
Gamma-Ray Bursts are the brightest explosions in the Universe. Astronomers think that the explosions of massive young stars power these bursts of light. An artist created this wonderful picture, which shows an unusual Gamma-Ray Burst – the burst was produced in one galaxy and it shone through a nearby galaxy as well.
